A little less ordinary.

Worth the Grin is an independent discovery site for unusual gifts, clever tools and small everyday delights. We like objects with a reason to exist: a useful twist, a clever detail or a bit of personality.

How we choose

We start with a real use or a particular recipient, check the maker’s information, and explain what makes a selection interesting. We also include the practical detail that could make it a poor fit: sunlight, compatibility, cleaning, space or required accessories.

Research is not testing

Our initial selections are researched from manufacturer information. We have not personally tested them. If we publish hands-on coverage later, we will explain what was tested and how. We do not invent ratings, customer experiences or popularity claims.

Original artwork

Our illustrations are original conceptual artwork, not photographs or exact depictions of the products. The maker’s page is the source for actual appearance, materials, specifications, price and availability.

Buying through this site

We send you to independent retailers; we do not sell or ship these products. Sellers handle payments, fulfillment and returns. Our current links are ordinary links and earn no commission. If we add affiliate links, we will clearly disclose them. Read how links work.

Keeping information useful

Product ranges and stock change. Confirm the exact model and seller terms before ordering. A selection describes why an item caught our eye, not a guarantee that it will suit everyone.
